YOUTH & JUNIORS

Rosalie Touch Association runs Term 3 and 4 specialised Juniors programs, as well as welcoming players 11+ to join one of our senior teams in our Thursday night competition, alongside players who can mentor and support them in learning the game.

FUTURE CHAMPS

Touch Football is an exciting low-contact sport that allows for a mix of ages and gender. Young players will be introduced to a range of skills and take part in modified games. Touch Football is a sport that will develop fitness, agility, speed, and co-ordination. No prior experience is necessary.

Training takes place on Thursday evening from 5-6pm during term 3 and then on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm during term 4. All trainings will be held at Rosalie. Players aged 11 and above are given the opportunity to play in the senior competition on Thursday evenings during the winter and summer seasons.

The Term 3 "Learn to Play" and "Skills Development" programs cater for beginners to intermediate level players who would like to learn more about the game and/or advance their skills. Groups will be based on age and experience. Juniors aged 8 (Year 3) to 18 (Year 12) are catered for.

The Term 4 "Tournament Touch" program caters for all abilities and experience and aims to prepare players for competition Touch. Previous experience (Rosalie Term 3 program or School Touch) is an advantage but not essential. Teams will be organised according to the following age groups: 10s/12s/14s/16s/Opens and may be mixed, male or female. This program leads into junior participants competing at the WA Junior State Championships held in November each year.

The committee welcomes interested volunteers to assist with coaching and refereeing at the Junior level. Rosalie Touch Association is willing to provide training and support to these individuals.
