Training takes place on Thursday evenings at Rosalie Park and runs from mid-August to late September.
Touch Football is an exciting low-contact sport that allows for a mix of ages and gender. Although it is often referred to as “Touch Rugby” and uses a rugby-shaped ball, Touch does not involve any tackling.
Young players will be introduced to a range of skills and take part in modified games. Touch Football is a sport that will develop fitness, agility, speed and co-ordination. No prior experience is necessary.
The Term 3 Learn to Play Touch Programme caters for beginners to intermediate level players who would like to learn more about the game and develop their skills. Groups will be based on age and/or experience. Youth/Juniors aged 8 (Year 3) to 18 (Year 12) are catered for.
Training takes place on Thursday evenings at Rosalie from 6-7pm and runs from mid-August to late September.
The Term 4 Tournament Touch Programme caters for all abilities and experience and aims to prepare players for competition Touch. Previous experience (Rosalie Term 3 programme or School Touch) is an advantage but not essential. Teams will be organised according to the following age groups: (10s/12s/14s/16s/Opens) and may be mixed, male or female.
Training takes place on Thursday evenings at Rosalie from 5-6pm and runs from late October to early December.
Players will have the opportunity to compete at the WA Junior Touch Tournament.
The committee welcomes interested volunteers to assist with coaching and refereeing at the Junior level. Rosalie Touch Association is willing to provide training and support to these individuals.
