Social touch is a great way to make friends & stay fit
Touch Football was first played at Rosalie Park during the 1970s, informally as part of training for the rugby players from Wests Subiaco. The game gathered momentum during the late 80s as Touch became recognised in its own right and gained popularity.
The Rosalie Touch Association has built a reputation for being a fun, relaxed and social club catering for Perth touch rugby at all levels of competition from corporate through to elite. Rosalie also has a large Youth and Junior touch program with over 150 participants taking part from October-December each year.
Rosalie Park is located adjacent to Kings Park, and is the City of Subiaco’s primary team sporting facility with the largest combination of sporting fields in the Western Suburbs. Rosalie Touch Association boasts the use of up to 8 well-maintained fields, central clubhouse and bar facilities.
The club’s touch seasons run over the Summer from October through to March on Thursday nights, whilst a reduced competition takes place over Winter from May through to August.
Touch Football is a game for all ages and genders, easy to learn, great for fitness and is a non-contact sport.
Rosalie Touch Association is a affiliated member of Touch Football Western Australia, which in turn is directly managed by Touch Football Australia (TFA). TFA is the only national Touch Football organisation recognised by the Australian Sports Commission and the Australian Government.
